Andrew and I have been enjoying some much needed days off! However, I'm not sure how "off" we've been. We've actually been pretty busy! On Wednesday Andrew was working while I was shopping and cooking for Thanksgiving. Thursday we were in Hobbs with my family for lunch and then headed over to Odessa for dinner with Andrew's family. What a great day! On Friday Andrew cleaned all of the front yard from leaves, needles, etc. while I was getting the inside cleaned up and ready to put out the Christmas decorations. I also started working on changing "The Pink Room" to Austin's room. We have a LONG way to go! Yes, that is my wedding dress laying on the bed! (It's not there now though.) We even got our Christmas lights put up!
Saturday Andrew and I went to Lubbock for a day of shopping and football. We got a very good jump on our Christmas shopping. Andrew was an excellent shopping buddy! We also went to the Houston @ Tech game. It was the final home game of the season and it was at night! It was pretty chilly (in the 30s), but Andrew and I dressed very warmly and brought our Snuggies. This pic was taken at the end of the 4th quarter while we were enjoying some hot chocolate. You can see how many fans were left by this point!
And yes...Texas Tech won:)!! What a great break, but now it's back to work for both of us. We will be looking forward to Christmas break that will be here very soon!

Baby Austin
Today Andrew and I got to go for another sonogram! Things went great and the doctor said Austin looks wonderful! We got 13 pictures! I'll just share a few with you here. He is still definitely a HE. We have a definite picture proving this, but I'm gonna keep his goods off the internet:). I looooove this profile picture of him... These are his cute little feet. She was able to count all 5 toes on one foot, but he started moving too much to count them on the other foot. I think the look good though:).

Let the holidays begin!
It's that time of year when things get CRAZY! In 4th grade we have our New Mexico project due this week before Thanksgiving. All of the kids are doing their presentations this week. It makes school CRAZY. Friday will be our classroom feast. Yum! Immediately after the feast it's time to begin decorating our classroom for Christmas. Can you believe it? Fortunately, next week is a short week and then I get some days off! Andrew and I are really looking forward to lunch in Odessa and then dinner here after on Thanksgiving. I doubt we'll starve that day;). Andrew has been really busy at work and working long hours. He said it will continue for the next 2-3 weeks, but should get better after. We are already looking forward to Christmastime. I will be off for 2 weeks and he will be taking his vacation time then as well. We can't wait to see Kent, Karen, Pete, Ashlyn, and Emily. They will be here (Odessa actually) from Mississipi!

Victory...Finally!
This past weekend was one full of football. On Friday Andrew, Dad, and I headed over to Odessa to go to the Odessa High and Midland Lee football game. Odessa High's star running back will be a Red Raider next year. I've heard tons about him and he lived up to all of the hype with 6 touchdowns and over 300 yards! He's #4. Next, on Saturday Mandy and I headed over to Lubbock for the Missouri @ Tech game Saturday night. We did a little shopping before and then headed to the game. I must say, Mandy must have been the most excited Red Raider in the house. It was her 3rd game and was fantastic!

Pink or Blue??
Thursday is the big day we get to go for the ultrasound! We will be finding out (hopefully) if we will be having a boy or a girl! Somehow I have to survive the day at work. It happens to be Lea County In Service Day. The kids get out at 12:20, BUT the teachers have to go suffer through a LONG presentation from a speaker with all of the other Lea County teachers. After that, we have the appointment. We can't wait:)!
