Odds and Ends

Some of the candles for the wedding - They will be put in all of the church windows along the side.
This is our engagement announcement that was in the Hobbs News Sun.

Lights for the wedding - They'll be wrapped around the arches.
This week I've been getting lots of odds and ends we still need for the wedding. I got the lights, candles, ring bearer pillows, and flower girl baskets. Yesterday Andrew and I did some shopping in Austin and I got the fabric to drape from the columns and ribbon for the bouquets. Today we went on a LONG hike/walk. We started at Bull Creek. We made it about a mile before the trail closed, so we decided to hit Zilker Park. We did 7 miles in all and had a GREAT workout! Now we're heading to hit the pool again. Andrew is off tomorrow, so we get to spend the day together again tomorrow. I'll be heading home on Wednesday to celebrate Kason's 6th birthday!

Honeymoon Booked

How awesome does that view look? Now that's the life!
This is the room we booked! YES, jacuzzi on the balcony!

It's small, but it's our room from a different angle.

ONE of the TEN restaurants! YUM! The resort is all inclusive, so I don't think we will be going hungry.

Now this is what I call a VACATION!!

The Great Parnassus - We can't wait to get there! Neither one of us has been to Cancun before!
Yeah, I had to look it up on the map to see exactly where Cancun is too! We are so excited we finally booked our honeymoon resort. We've been researching and tossing around many different ideas, but this seemed to be both of our #1 picks. We finally decided to pull the trigger and book it. We're so thrilled!

Wedding Party II

We had a great time at the Sawyer Brown concert! We also got to see The Indian and The White Guy. Andrew and I busted a move on the dance floor;).
Andrew was very thoughtful and got me this super comfy Minnesota sweatshirt during his trip this past week. Love it!

Dad and Andrew having male bonding while the rest of us were slaving away on the wedding invitations;). My goodness the UT discussions that occurred on this night...
Yep, we got a lot done! Look for your invitations in the mail this week! This was actually VERY difficult work. It requires lots of serious concentration to write the correct address and name on each invitation! Thanks for all of the help, ladies!
I got to use some of the new silver we got at our shower! It looked great!
Andrew has been here this weekend and it's been great! We've been working on getting our passports for the honeymoon this week. Things have been busy, busy! We had the wedding party on Friday night and Saturday we headed to Lubbock to see Andrew's aunt and uncle after our 3rd premarital counseling session. (1 more to go!) We made it back in time to see Sawyer Brown tonight.

TWO Months to Go

This is my bridesmaid dress to wear in Kari's wedding in September! I'm excited!

Kamden at the ballpark after Kason's game.

Kason got a GREAT hit tonight! I'm so proud of him. He informed me very quickly I owe him a Coke. He has some Steve Urkel tendencies;).

Mother's Day at Sis's house.

Janet got new babies, 2 Yorkies! They're SOO cute!

I got my tiara for the wedding!

Two months from today is the big day! The days seem to be flying by! I drug Andrew around Lubbock on Saturday shopping, he loved every second of it;). We shopped until we dropped, but we got SO much done. I got my bridesmaid dress ordered for Kari's wedding. I also got to see Jennifer and her husband and take them their baby present. She's due in June! Hopefully she will be bringing the baby to our wedding to show off! I got my tiara for the wedding! AND we ran across 5 Guys Burgers and Fries! We've gone to eat there several times in Austin and now we discovered they opened one up in Lubbock! It was a nice surprise. In Austin there's an Amy's Ice Cream next door to it, but no such luck YET in Lubbock;).

Stone Shower

I had a great time at my bridal shower at school today. We got some AWESOME gifts. Everyone seems to want me to throw a party to use our new silver dishes! I have a plan, I'll provide the dishes and everyone else can provide the food;). They're just gorgeous! These are the pictures that I have on my camera, but I'm going to have to get some from my mom and her camera with more of the hostesses. A HUGE thank you to hostesses: Cathy Klepper, Amy Green, Jan Brian, and Marcia Reber. AND a huge thank you to the entire Stone Staff. What an awesome staff I get to work with each day, I am truly humbled by everyone's kindness. It was all fantastic!! I am so excited to get to use everything!
